Well hello! I know many of you probably didn’t even know I blogged or thought I had given up on the whole thing. I'll admit I ran into some bloggers block and have had no idea what to blog about. Still struggling but I thought id break the streak and quickly update you on what's been going on in my life so far this year, which if you’ve been following me on insta then you know a LOT has been changing in my life!
Salon Life
If you have tried to book an appointment with me in the last few months you may have noticed that it is not as easy to get in with me as it was before. This year my clientele has grown immensely, having me booked out a couple weeks in advance. I have also thought a lot about 'stylist burn out' in the industry, I love my job and want to continue for years loving my job, so in a effort to not burn myself out I have shortened my salon hours just a tad.
Moral of that story: Book ahead! I love all my clients and would hate to see you not be able to get in. So please book a few weeks in advance and if you cannot find an appointment opening that works for you send me a message and ill find something that works!
Surprise!...I'm pregnant
End of January we found out we were expecting! Due September 19th. Thankfully I have had a really easy pregnancy, not without a few troubles( whoever called it 'morning' sickness clearly had never been pregnant or I think they would have called it 'all day' sickness). I am so thrilled that I have been able to continue working throughout this pregnancy and plan to continue to work as close to my due date as I can! I also plan on taking a short maternity leave and will be back to work part time in December.

"I promise ill blog more" - something I say to my sister aka website manager often. But this time I mean it! Stay tuned for a post on my hair extensions, along with a tutorial on how I put them in and care for them and a post on how to protect your hair from summer damage!
Quick NEW product update! Kevin Murphy is releasing a new line of Angel washes, coloured shampoos, including a ROSE GOLD one *insert happy dance* Ill be sharing those with you as soon as they hit our shelves so watch out for that!
