What a year it has been! I actually cannot even believe that it is over.
The other day I typed my info in to check out what my "best 9" for 2017, turns out you all really love my Pulp Riot stuff and my new blonde hair! Here are a few things this year that I achieved and would like to work on, don’t worry I'll keep it short and sweet.
1. HAIR BY LIANNA IS 2!
2017 was my second year owning my own business, Chair Renting is one of the best things I ever did! I love the freedom it gives me and I feel like it has made me grow so much more than when I was on commission. This year was not without its challenges but I can for sure say that those struggles helped me become better and wiser and I'm so excited for year 3!
2. HAIRBYLIANNA.COM WAS BORN
I remember last year I came to my sister with this idea, "would it be beneficial for me to write a blog?" she pretty much jumped for joy because that is her area of expertise and I think she had been waiting for me to take this next step. That day she came over to help me set up a whole website(her idea), it was so fun and a huge learning curve for me. I literally knew nothing about making a website or blogging. The best part of hairbylianna.com is that it’s a project that is both mine and my sisters, I love that we get to work on it together.
3. FIRST PULP RIOT FEATURE!
On May 18 2017 @pulpriothair featured one of my photos. It was the best day ever! Until about a week later when they shared another one of my photos! I was so excited that they would share my work, it made me feel like I could do even more with my career than just working in the salon. Educating dreams came flying in for me and I felt like a whole new door had opened.
These are my 3 biggest career goals that became reality in 2017, I can't wait to see what 2018 brings!
